Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP license for the state of Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows with strong pediatric experience considered
- Prior experience in school settings or treating school-aged children highly desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Demonstrated commitment to student growth and inclusion in educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Deliver therapy, intervention, and consultative services individually and in small groups
- Provide strategies and tools to support communication development in the classroom
