Speech Language Pathologist in Denver, CO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Denver area for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week), onsite only—remote and VOCO services are not available.
You’ll work with a dynamic caseload that typically ranges between 25 and 45 students, with assignments varying across different campuses. Both seasoned SLPs and those completing their Clinical Fellowship (with district-provided supervision) are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certificate
- Maintain a valid Colorado SLP License
- School-based SLP experience preferred; open to entry-level candidates with strong clinical training
- Ability to complete background check and fingerprinting as required by the district
- Must provide onsite therapy services; remote and SLPA applications not accepted
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to PreK-12 students as assigned (case load may vary between 25-45)
- Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success
- Attend and participate in eligible professional development opportunities with billable attendance
- Uphold ethical and best practice standards for school-based therapy
