School Speech Language Pathologist - Denver, Colorado
Step into a fulfilling opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting near Denver, CO. This on-site, contract position will have you supporting students for the 2026/2027 academic year. You'll work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Assignments may include different school sites, offering you a varied and engaging experience. Caseloads are thoughtfully managed, typically ranging from 25 to 45 students across various age groups.
The district values professional growth, allowing contractors to participate in and be compensated for Professional Development days. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with supervision available for Clinical Fellows. Please note this opportunity is strictly for SLPs—assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible, and remote options are not available.
Qualifications & Licensure:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Valid Colorado SLP license
- Prior schools-based experience is highly desirable
- Current background check and district-specific fingerprinting required before your start date
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language intervention to students as outlined in IEPs
- Complete assessments and develop meaningful, individualized goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
