Speech and Language Pathologist - Denver, CO
Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a diverse school setting near Denver, Colorado. This on-site position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with interviews already underway for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. Enjoy a structured Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week across assignments that may vary in the number of school sites.
As part of a dedicated support system, you’ll manage a student caseload ranging from 25 to 45, with the majority of your focus on delivering evidence-based interventions and collaborating alongside educational teams. Contractors are encouraged to enrich their expertise—district professional development days are considered billable. Recent graduates are welcome to apply, as clinical fellowship supervision can be provided.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Active Colorado SLP license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- School-based experience is valued, but all levels of experience are encouraged to apply
- Commitment to completing required background checks and district fingerprinting
- No SLPA’s or virtual providers; on-site SLPs only
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for communication disorders in K–12 students
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain required documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Attend and bill for professional development sessions as part of your contract
