Make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a close-knit K-8 school community in the northern suburbs of Denver. This contract opportunity focuses on providing speech and language services for both moderate to severe center-based classrooms, as well as students with mild to moderate needs. You’ll collaborate with a welcoming district known for supporting both new graduates and experienced professionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP licensure; please be ready to share your current status or credential.
  • SLP-CCC or CF (supervision available for CFs).
  • Experience with K-8 populations and comfort managing mild, moderate, and severe needs in a school-based environment.
  • Able to conduct comprehensive evaluations, direct student services, write service notes, and, for certain students, serve as IEP case manager.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Must be able to work fully onsite (district does not accept Hybrid, VOCO, or remote work).
  • SLPA and nurse applicants are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and intervention to approximately 40 students (mild/moderate through severe).
  • Complete evaluations and maintain detailed service notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Take an active role as IEP case manager for students receiving only speech services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and required district trainings.
