The district is recognized for its supportive approach toward new graduates and experienced professionals alike. As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF), your expertise will help empower students’ communication and academic growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials; please provide current status upon applying
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged and supervision is available
- School-based SLP experience or training preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Comfort working with students who have a wide variety of needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students in a center-based setting
- Conduct evaluations, develop service notes, and manage student caseloads per IEP requirements
- Serve as case manager for students who receive only speech services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families on student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
