Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP license (please provide status with your application)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP credential (or CFY; supervision provided for clinical fellows)
- Experience in school settings preferred, but all backgrounds considered
- Ability to support students with a range of communication needs (mild to severe)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and deliver speech-language therapy to K-8 students in a center-based program
- Serve as case manager for students whose IEPs list only speech services
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Conduct service notes, evaluations, and maintain compliance with IEP requirements
- Provide direct and consultative services, ensuring specific student needs are met
- Participate fully in the IEP process, including the development and implementation of goals
