This contract-based opportunity is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologist—Clinical Certificate of Competence (SLP-CCC) professionals, ready to step into a vital role serving mild to severe student needs, primarily at the elementary and high school levels.
This dynamic setting needs a compassionate, adaptable candidate to help meet caseload demands during a time of transition. An onsite presence is strongly preferred, though highly qualified candidates with teletherapy (Voco) experience may also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) SLP certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Relevant school-based SLP experience; comfortable with a range of mild to severe student needs
- Skilled at managing both elementary and high school caseloads
- Flexibility to support a district managing several leaves and unexpected staff changes
- Open to candidates willing to travel; local SLPs especially encouraged to apply
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible for this position
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with mild to severe needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals; assess and document student abilities
- Contribute to a positive, supportive school climate during a sensitive time for the community
