Speech-Language Pathologist in Denver, CO

The district is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with their CCC and experience in school-based settings. Onsite professionals are highly desired; however, there may be some flexibility for candidates interested in remote work.
You’ll play a crucial role supporting students with mild to severe speech and language needs, and your expertise will be especially valued during this time of transition within the district.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active CDE certification required (must be on hand at time of application)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience, K-12 preferred (elementary and high school caseload focus)
- Strong knowledge of best practices and compliance within a school setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Open to travelers; however, Clinical Fellows (CF) cannot be considered for this role
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse student population
- Assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive intervention plans
- Provide individualized therapy, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Communicate with educators and parents regarding student goals and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and support transition planning where appropriate
