We’re seeking an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to support students' communication goals on a contract basis. The ideal candidate brings expertise, compassion, and a drive to collaborate with educators and families to foster student success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but clinical fellows welcome to apply
- Experience delivering services in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and design individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ needs, both individual and group
- Monitor, document, and communicate progress using effective data collection tools
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and staff to recommend classroom strategies and support generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planning
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal regulations
