School Speech Language Pathologist - Deltona, Florida

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services across multiple school sites in the Deltona, Florida area. The role involves working with students in elementary and middle school settings within Volusia County Public Schools, supporting their communication and speech development needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and support services to students at Ormond Beach Elementary (3 days) and Pine Trail Elementary (1 day) for this year, transitioning to a full 5-day role next year.
- Provide services 4 days per week at Silver Sands Middle School in Port Orange.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Supervise Clinical Fellows as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district and state guidelines related to speech and language therapy.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Bachelor’s degree candidates with a temporary teaching certificate may be considered for this year’s assignment (excluding SLPA licenses).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with school-age children is preferred.
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple sites.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract period from ASAP start date through June 5th, 2026.
