Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current, active Florida SLP license issued by the Department of Health is required
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations (Preschool through 12th grade)
- Understanding of developmental milestones and communication challenges for ages K–12
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades PreK–12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions based on assessment results
- Support students in a variety of educational settings, ranging from one-on-one to group services
- Collaborate regularly with educators, support staff, and families to ensure positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely reports, including progress monitoring and documentation for IEPs
- Participate in case conferences, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
