Pediatric Grades 6 - 8 School Speech Language Pathologist - Atlantic Beach, Florida

This full-time, itinerant position offers the chance to provide essential services to a diverse range of children and adolescents, making a daily difference in their educational journeys. With a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, you'll have the opportunity to work with students across all grade levels, from preschool through high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure (required)
- Previous experience with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Comfortable serving students across multiple sites as part of an itinerant assignment
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Adaptability to meet the needs of PreK-12 students, including those with varying communication disorders
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students from preschool to grade 12
- Deliver direct intervention services on-site, adapting strategies to the developmental and learning levels of each age group
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure achievement of IEP goals
- Support students at multiple schools within the district, traveling as needed
