Speech Language Pathologist in Delmar, MD

The role involves working with PreK3 through 3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 60 students and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure each child’s voice is heard and needs are met.
Desired Qualifications:
- SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) credential required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- School-based experience with elementary or early childhood populations
- Ability to provide in-person therapy and support, Monday through Friday, 7:45 am – 3:15 pm
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
- Professional commitment to inclusive education and student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver therapy to students with mild to moderate speech/language needs
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation per district and compliance standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Offer guidance and education to parents and staff regarding communication strategies
- Engage in progress monitoring and adjust interventions as appropriate
