Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with elementary-age students, particularly PreK3–3rd grade, preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
- Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students ages PreK3 through 3rd grade with mild to moderate speech-language impairments
- Administer standardized assessments to evaluate communication needs and guide treatment planning
- Develop, implement, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress in inclusive and pull-out settings
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to educational planning and team goals
You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and meaningful engagement with students and staff alike.
