Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certification, or status as a Clinical Fellow (CFs welcome to apply)
- Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy practices and pediatric interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering language, articulation, fluency, and social skills in elementary-age children
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide insight and recommendations
- Provide direct therapy services, in groups or one-on-one, to help students achieve their communication goals
- Engage in professional development and access mentorship resources as needed
