Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Maryland SLP License (required)
- Experience supporting high school-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to high school students, individually and in groups
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to evaluations, and maintain accurate records
- Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce communication goals in the classroom and at home
- Assist in program development and take part in school activities that promote student growth
