Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in Louisiana
- Recent school-based SLP experience preferred; however, open to new graduates with strong clinical skills
- Understanding of IEP development, therapy documentation, and progress monitoring
- Comfort in providing services across multiple school sites and age groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
- Maintain thorough and timely student records and progress documentation
- Engage with families, educators, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
