Responsibilities include assessment and treatment planning, direct therapy delivery, and active participation in IEP meetings. With a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, you’ll have the opportunity to provide focused, high-quality services and directly impact students at different stages, from those just starting out to those advancing through their school journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Experience or strong interest in working within pediatric school settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability to manage diverse needs within a school-aged population
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, diagnosing a variety of communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Stay current with best practices and participate in school-based meetings as needed
