School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Davison, Michigan

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with early childhood or preschool populations
- Knowledge of assessment, intervention planning, and implementation for speech/language disorders in young children
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Michigan state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to preschool and early childhood students
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs, strengths, and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for young learners and their families
- Engage with team members onsite to optimize learning outcomes and comply with educational standards
