School Based Speech Language Pathologist K-12
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for multiple school-based contract positions in Rockford, Illinois for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a K–12 educational setting, supporting students’ communication needs while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
We currently have 3 full-time openings (37.5 hours/week) and are seeking motivated professionals passionate about pediatric speech therapy, IEP services, and school-based intervention.

Caseload & Responsibilities
Caseload will be based on your experience, preferences, and skillset
Opportunities to work across K–12 grade levels
Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy services, and progress monitoring
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
Work within one or more school sites (placement flexible based on candidate fit)
Qualifications
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
