Elementary Pre K Speech and Language Pathologist in Saint Cloud, FL

In this contract role, you’ll deliver direct speech and language therapy to PreK through 5th-grade students, shaping their communication skills during the crucial elementary years. Your day-to-day will be spent collaborating with an on-site support team, addressing the needs of a diverse caseload—including students who benefit from communication devices, require behavioral interventions, or thrive with visual supports for sensory integration. Specific campus and caseload details will be provided during the interview process, ensuring the right fit for your experience and interests.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida Department of Health and SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Pediatric therapy experience within elementary/PreK settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in supporting students with communication devices, behavioral challenges, and varied sensory needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language services on-site in PreK–5th grade school programs
- Develop tailored treatment plans and document student progress
- Coordinate with educators, families, and educational teams for holistic student support
- Incorporate visual and behavioral supports to foster student engagement and success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
