Make a difference in the lives of young learners through your expertise as an onsite bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract position focuses on a preschool caseload, providing an engaging and dynamic work environment in a supportive educational setting.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
- Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish—spoken and written
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school or early childhood setting preferred
- Understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and effective communication with families
- Current knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices appropriate for preschool ages
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Your key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool-aged students
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings on campus
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational programming for students
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Advocate for students’ communication needs and facilitate language development in a multicultural environment
