Speech Language Pathologist in Culpeper, VA
Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level in a dynamic, collaborative school environment. This full-time, onsite contract assignment offers the opportunity to support students across a range of grade levels, contributing to their communication and academic success. You’ll be based in the Culpeper, VA area and will play a vital role in a dedicated interdisciplinary team focused on student development.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess or be eligible for an active Virginia SLP license
- Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are encouraged to apply, provided they meet Virginia provisional license requirements
- Experience providing therapy, conducting evaluations, and supporting IEP development preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation and reporting, including Medicaid-related paperwork
- Willingness to travel between sites within the district as assigned
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services onsite to students, tailored to their unique needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings as an integral team member, contributing clinical insights
- Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records in accordance with school and Medicaid requirements
- Foster strong communication with teachers, faculty, and families to support students’ overall education plans
- Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of K-12 learners
