School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bealeton, Virginia
Make a difference supporting K-12 students throughout the school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow in a vibrant, collaborative educational environment. This full-time contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to deliver onsite services in a welcoming community of learners and educators from now through May 2027. Work directly with a diverse student population while enjoying professional growth and the unique support offered in a school-based setting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility required
- Clinical Fellows welcome! (Virginia provisional license eligibility needed)
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatrics is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between schools within the district if needed
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a collaborative team and fostering student success
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students (caseload, grades, and specific schools determined upon assignment)
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
- Participate in and contribute to IEP development and team meetings
- Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and Medicaid documentation
- Engage with educators, caregivers, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in supervision (if CF), mentoring, and ongoing professional development
