Qualifications and Credentials:
- Active MA Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to preschool-aged students (up to 37.5 hours/5 days weekly)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 40 students
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic environment tailored to each child’s needs
- Consult with teachers and families, recommending strategies for carryover and generalization in the classroom and home settings
