Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possess a valid, current state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (NC eligibility required)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
- Proficient in conducting formal and informal speech and language assessments
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to students in grades K-8, adjusting strategies for developmental needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for new students, providing meaningful recommendations
- Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Document therapy activities and maintain required records in compliance with school policies
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed to ensure consistent service delivery
Work Schedule and Details:
- 10-15 hours per week
- Consistent two-day-per-week schedule for therapy sessions with additional hours as needed for evaluations
- Commitment through the full academic year
