Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly valued
- Confidence working with students of varying ages, from early elementary through middle school
- Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students in accordance with their individual education plans
- Administer assessments and write evaluation reports for four new students as requested
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student progress
- Manage documentation, reports, and necessary IEP updates
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed to serve the caseload
- Maintain a positive, student-focused approach and adaptability throughout your assignments
