Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license or SLPA certification in Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required for SLPs; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Experience working with PK-8 students, or a strong desire to do so
- Ability to manage caseloads with mixed severity of speech and language impairments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop personalized therapy plans
- Provide direct intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective communication strategies within the classroom
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences as required
