Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid SLP license for the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Holds or is eligible for ASHA CCCs; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable applying evidence-based practices for a diverse student population
- Technologically adept for virtual (voco) therapy, if interested
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using appropriate speech and language assessment tools
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Deliver engaging, goal-focused therapy to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Work closely with teachers, psychologists, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development, supporting best practices in speech pathology
