You’ll play a key role in supporting K-12 students for three days each week, ensuring continuity of care and a positive educational experience.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current and valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels
- Familiarity with school-based SLP services, individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborative multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt to dynamic school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K–12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to district and DOE requirements
- Provide both direct and consultative services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Participate in eligibility/IEP meetings and contribute informed recommendations
- Deliver services in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines
