Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Coos Bay, Oregon
Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing vital speech-language therapy services in a school-based contract role. A director has expressed immediate interest in adding a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to the team—details are developing, so flexibility and readiness to adapt are valuable as more specifics become available. Assignment is scheduled for the 2026/2027 school year, with likely full-time hours and a caseload model in place.
Seeking candidates skilled in school settings, including pediatrics and teletherapy, with experience or eligibility in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and healthcare-related SLP roles. Current SLP licensure in Oregon is required. You will support students within a collaborative environment, participate in both direct and indirect service delivery, and be part of team meetings and administrative time—all contributing to student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Oregon SLP License (or eligibility)
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) or CFY considered
- Experience in K-12, pediatric, or school-based SLP settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and service documentation
- Teletherapy skills a plus
- Strong communication skills and adaptable approach
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services
- Conduct thorough student evaluations and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Attend paid team meetings and participate in administrative activities
