Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Oregon City, OR

Make an impact on young lives by supporting students’ communication growth in a part-time, school-based role focused on middle schoolers. This contract opportunity centers around working with a diverse group of approximately 20 students, including those with autism, intellectual, and specific learning disabilities. You’ll manage cases for about 10 students, collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The schedule offers flexibility with 20 hours per week, ideal for balancing work and personal commitments.
You’ll be assigned to more than one school and will receive paid travel between locations. The role emphasizes both direct service and case management, giving you the chance to build meaningful connections and witness progress firsthand.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Oregon SLP licensure
- Will consider CCC and CFY candidates
- Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based settings
- Familiarity with communication disorders including those related to autism, intellectual, and learning disabilities
- Strong teletherapy skills are a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Fingerprinting and background check required
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to middle school students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Manage a caseload of about 10 students, supporting a wider group of approximately 20
- Communicate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district requirements
- Travel between assigned schools as needed, with mileage covered
