What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- ACTIVE North Carolina state SLP license (required)
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in elementary and middle school environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working closely with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to providing onsite services throughout the duration of the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse school caseload
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation according to school and regulatory procedures
- Serve as a resource to classroom educators for integrating speech-language strategies into classroom activities
