School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Concord, New Hampshire
Step into a meaningful role supporting PreK learners as a Speech Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (7.5 hours per day, totaling 35-37.5 hours per week) in a nurturing school-based environment near Concord, NH. Make a positive impact by addressing communication challenges at a pivotal stage of early childhood development.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), with strong clinical skills and a passion for early intervention. Candidates who are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered. Please note: SLPA credentials will not be considered for this role.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible state licensure
- CCC-SLP highly preferred, but CFY applicants welcome
- Experience or sincere interest in working with preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with providing assessments, creating IEP goals, and delivering both individual and small group therapy
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to meet student IEP goals
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Provide consultative support and strategies to educators and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
