Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Columbus, Ohio

The assignment runs from August 20th through May 28th and requires onsite presence five days a week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings and/or pediatrics preferred
- Strong knowledge of evaluation, treatment, and therapy documentation for students
- Effective communication abilities with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to PreK-12 students, in alignment with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment interventions targeting communication, language, articulation, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage families in student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights on student needs and therapy goals
