Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is an in-person, full-time opportunity working within a preschool setting using an inclusion model, supporting young learners with diverse communication needs.
This role is ideal for SLPs looking for a rewarding pediatric therapy position, collaboration with educators, and a structured school schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged students
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and parent conferences
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Caseload & Setting
- Population: Preschool-aged children
- Model: Inclusion classroom setting
- Focus Areas: Articulation, language development, social communication, early intervention
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Colorado (or eligibility)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA CCCs preferred (Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
