School Speech Language Pathologist - Colfax, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Hold or be eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC); Clinical Fellowships (CFYs) are welcome and supported
- Previous experience or strong interest in working within a school-based or pediatric setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each child’s progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Educate and consult with parents and teachers to reinforce interventions and strategies
