Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in elementary and middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to planning for student success
- Offer consultation and support to school personnel and families
