Key Qualifications:
- Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Solid knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 15 students
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication goals
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student outcomes
