Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and SLP – CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience working within school settings, especially with K-12 populations
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to supervise or collaborate with educational staff and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and tailoring interventions to their needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for those with speech-language needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate service records in accordance with district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Travel between three assigned school sites as part of your weekly routine
- Offer support mainly to elementary students, with opportunities to engage K-12 as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt methods to each student’s unique profile
