You’ll work regular, consistent hours Monday through Friday, collaborating with faculty and families to help preschoolers develop strong communication skills.
Qualifications and Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with Pre-K and preschool-age children in school settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Collaborative approach to working with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of preschool students’ speech and language development
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with teachers and staff
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group formats
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with team members, and support school initiatives around language development
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to reinforce learning at home
