Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid professional license and educator certificate required
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a school-based setting
- Ability to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to starting
- DCDEE fingerprinting clearance required
- Passion for supporting children’s communication needs
- Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students according to established IEPs, collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide therapy across campuses (number of sites and caseload details to be determined)
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards
- Support a culturally diverse student population, fostering inclusion and student growth
