A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a full-time contract position from December 1, 2025, through June 12, 2026. This role is located in Elk Grove, CA, supporting a school environment with a demanding caseload of approximately 50-65 students.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring for students requiring speech and language services.
- Manage a caseload with diligence, addressing delays in progress monitoring and ensuring timely interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Valid California Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience managing school-based caseloads, preferably with knowledge of IEP development and special education protocols.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a backlog of progress monitoring and direct services efficiently.
