Elementary High School Speech Language Pathologist in Cincinnati, OH

Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school-aged children
- School-based experience highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility to work with diverse student populations and classroom settings
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and execute tailored therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to set goals and track progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and support
- Document evaluations, progress, and therapy notes in accordance with school requirements
- Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers for integrating communication strategies
- Stay current on best practices, research, and techniques in school-based speech-language pathology
