Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Schertz, TX

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency required
- Prior experience in school environments strongly preferred
- Commitment to a contract position running from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Strong communication, cultural competence, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged students
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver bilingual speech-language services to effectively reach students from diverse backgrounds
- Deliver both pull-out and inclusion therapy, based on student needs
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as required
- Document progress and maintain student records up to professional and district standards
- Engage with families, educators, and stakeholders to support student growth
- Provide supervision to support staff or clinical fellows, as needed
