Speech-Language Pathologist – School-Based | 2026-2027 School Year

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team for the 2026-2027 academic year near San Antonio, Texas. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Bilingual candidates are preferred.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.
• Manage and maintain a caseload of students requiring speech-language pathology services.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings to determine eligibility and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and speech therapy goals.
• Participate in and facilitate ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and collaborate with educational teams regarding student progress and services.
• Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in accordance with state and district guidelines.
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services in individual and group settings.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
• Knowledge of special education regulations, IEP processes, and ARD meetings.
