Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in proximity to Cypress, TX. This part-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for young learners, providing support to a caseload of approximately 40 students. With a schedule of up to 24 hours per week, you’ll have the flexibility to balance your professional commitments and personal life throughout the academic year, from August 2026 to late May 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
  • School-based experience is an advantage, but not required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners within an elementary setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for approximately 40 elementary students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with educational teams to deliver effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives in support of student success
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language development
