Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
- School-based experience is an advantage, but not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners within an elementary setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for approximately 40 elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educational teams to deliver effective intervention strategies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives in support of student success
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language development
