Travel Early Childhood Education (ECE) Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Chula Vista, CA
A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics, serving students from early childhood through grades K-12. This role offers travel assignments in diverse regions including Southern California, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado, providing a unique chance to impact various school communities while exploring new locations.
Location: Chula Vista, CA (with additional travel opportunities across Southern CA, NC, SC, and CO)
Assignment Type: Travel assignment in school settings
Start Date: 2026/2027 School Year
Schedule: 30+ hours per week, 5 days a week
Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Caseload Types: Self-Contained, Resource, and inclusive classroom settings
Qualifications:
- Active State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of assignment
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Ability to support students across multiple grade levels, including early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services tailored to students’ needs in resource and self-contained classrooms
- Monitor and track student progress regularly, adapting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective intervention and support
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
