Qualification Highlights:
- Current, active California SLP Licensure (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads, particularly moderate to severe, highly valued
- Familiarity with SEIS Service Tracker or similar IEP documentation systems is a plus
- CTC (California Teaching Credential) required for school setting assignments
- Willingness to travel between multiple campus sites within the district as an itinerant professional
- Not open to virtual (VOCO) services; onsite presence essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students identified with moderate to severe needs
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain compliant documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to support student progress and inclusion
- Manage an itinerant schedule, servicing multiple school sites as assigned
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families regarding communication challenges
