Step into a dynamic school-based setting and make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK through 1st-grade students. This full-time contract opportunity offers an engaging caseload, beginning at 35 students and potentially expanding to 55, all on site in a supportive educational environment. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and begins July 17th, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (State of California required by start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by ASHA
- School-based experience in assessment and intervention highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and maintain documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in PreK–1st grade
- Assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; create treatment plans to address student needs
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, documenting assessment results and progress toward goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote student communication success in the classroom
- Complete required documentation, reports, and billing in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain compliance with all school policies and professional standards
